How to Plan a Birthday Party at Splish Splash

On top of our amazing water attractions, we provide reserved seating for the duration of 1-hour timeframe, all the party supplies, pizza, small drinks with free refills, and even a gift for the birthday kid!

If your family wants to come to Splish Splash for a water park party we have everything you need for a memorable time! But just like planning any other kind of party, there are some things you need to handle beforehand.

Here is everything you need to know for planning a birthday party at New York’s largest water park, Splish Splash.

1. Make Your Reservations in Advance

Splish Splash birthday party sizes range from a 10-guest minimum to a maximum of 25 guests. That means that we need a bit of notice to ensure that your special day goes just right, so birthday party reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.

2. Arrive When the Park Opens

When you book a birthday party at Splish Splash, your entire group gets all-day access to the park. That means if you and the kids arrive when the park opens, there is plenty of time to ride your favorite attractions multiple times before the party starts!

Just be sure to check in at the Group Sales window at least one hour prior to your birthday party time so that we can make sure everything is ready to go.

3. If You Are Bringing Your Own Dessert

Don’t worry about leaving a cake in the car. If you plan on bringing a birthday cake, cupcakes, or other sweet treats for the party, you can drop them off at the group sales window when you get to the park.

Outside of cake and pizza, if you are looking for additional food options, you can also add on chicken wings platter with fries, chicken Caesar salad, and a chicken tender platter with fries to your birthday package.

4. Arrive at the Picnic Grove on Time

Splish Splash birthday parties can be quite popular during the summer. Because water park parties are such a crowd-pleaser, we can have several birthday bashes per day.

This means that it is important to arrive at the Picnic Grove for your designated party time so that we can make sure that all the kids get their full one-hour to laugh, eat, and celebrate.

5. End the Day with a Special Treat

The best way to end a special day at the water park is to stop by our churro stand, Hyper Bites or Dippin' Dots on your way out for one last treat, at an additional cost.

Or, if your sweet tooth is already satisfied, stop by one of our retail stores and purchase a souvenir to commemorate the day.
